If you take material from other papers and don’t make the reference to this paper, then it means that you have used other work without permission and this is called plagiarism. Plagiarism is an illegal action and definite punishment should be put on.

If it possible that you have found some examples of academic papers in the Internet and they were written of the same theme as your dissertation. Of course, it is normal that you came to conclusion to use those examples. But you didn’t think that other students may d the same. As a result, you get accusations of plagiarism.
In order to write plagiarism free dissertation, it is necessary to be very careful with material, which you are going to use. It is necessary to write references to all sources of information, which you have used, if it is impossible to indicate the reference, then try to rewrite material in such way that it was impossible to see there even the shade of plagiarism.
